I'm Lori Philley, born and raised in Walls, Mississippi. My dad was the Walls Bee Man, and by age six I was on the corner of Hwy 301 & Goodman selling honey with a hand-lettered sign. I graduated from Horn Lake High School and Delta State University, and I've been serving DeSoto County one way or another ever since.

Before I ever held a license, I spent 25 years buying, remodeling, flipping and renting out houses — more than 30 of them, from long-term rentals to Airbnbs. I've pulled up carpet to find surprises, priced out roofs, wells and septic systems, and learned exactly which updates add value and which ones don't. I know houses, not just listings.

For buyers, that means I'll tell you what a house really needs before you fall in love with it. For sellers, it means I'll tell you which improvements are worth doing and which aren't — then launch your home with pro photos, drone video, 3-D tours and targeted ads, backed by 25 years of marketing experience.

I also teach graphic design at Northwest Mississippi Community College, co-owned Mommy's Secret Consignment for 15 years, and I love DeSoto County traditions like the Dickens Christmas, the Hernando Farmer's Market and Cedar Hill Farms. My husband and I have three grown kids, and this community will always be home.
